The long lost artist

Yesterday I saw The Da Vinci Code. Interesting one. Now I see why the "Caotic" Church raised its voice against the movie (although I suspected the reason even before seeing it).
I liked it very much so I will get the book in my hands when I finished with my exams and read the story. Even tho the end of the story is very probably a fiction only, but the whole thing is kinda "tapping" around the right place, I feel.
One more movie (even if it was only a fiction) to open the eyes and make people think a bit: dark things are not necessarily "black".

And now just to fall in the sin of pride: the other day at the bottom of a box I found some drawings that I made when I was about 15 years old :-D So I scanned them and I upload them to here.

I really loved and still love drawing, lately more nonfigurative patterns, mainly playing with the shadows and lights. Unfortunately I did not have time to do it recently but these drawings brought back some feeling of nostalgy, so maybe I will get into it again as soon as this busy week is over :-)
Although they are full of mistakes I still like them very much :-) I was looking hard for one of them but I could not find it. It was about a water-jug made of glass and half-full of water. That drawing was really cool!

10 years later I saw exactly the same view in Tibet, at Lhasa.

Okay, this Da Vinci Code hype is pissing me off.

The whole book is one big populistic piece of crap. The author mixes fiction, with little grains of truth to make his story look like one big truth.

And no, I am not an offended catholic (in contrary hehehehehe).

Just being disappointed in the way people take this as a documentary instead of fiction.

In the mean time several journalist (non-christians) dispelled all the stories of the book with historical facts. Just do a google search.

WOW! You're pissed off! :-) would love to see your face now! :-))

How much is fiction and how much is truth... I don't care. I liked it, no matter how stupid you say I was :-) :P~
Just cos someone likes a fiction does not mean that s/he can't see the reality (whatever that may be).

Maybe you should take it easier and have more trust in (some) people's maturity and ability of judgement, ne? :-)

There was no bad intend towards you in my post. Just a general discontent in how many people overhere are now using this book to bash the catholic church, but it just makes them look silly. If you bash the church you should do it decently heheheheheh.

Sorry again, that post was not intended to put you or your maturity down in any way (if i reread my post, i don't see it pointing towards you, maybe it is a language miscommunication).

Certainly a nice read, I read it too in one go.

Sleep tight,

Let's throw a veil over it. I had the worst migraine in a long time, too, and also internet based communication is definitely not conveying thoughts properly.
And I know what a nice guy you are in real life (if you make some efforts hehhehehe :))) )

I just wanted to say that anything that makes people go thinking about how things are, is good in my opinion.
